Interaction data Prompt participation, engagement with other users including calling, texting and video chatting people on your friends list, conversations, features you interact with, and other information about your activities within the app.
Device contacts If you choose to grant the app access to your contact book, we will use this information to allow you to invite others to join the app, your interest-based groups, and to otherwise personalize your experience using the app. You can always change your device settings to terminate our access to your contact book.
Preferences Language, interests, and other feedback/preferences that you might express during your use of our Services.
Marketing Data Choices regarding our newsletters, surveys, and other marketing or advertising displayed or provided to you, and preferred methods of receiving such promotional communication.

Personal information collected automatically through your use of our Services

Online Activity Data Pages or screens you viewed, how long you spent on a page or screen, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about your activity on a page or screen, access times, and duration of access, and whether you have opened our marketing emails or clicked links within them.

Cookies Cookies are pieces of information stored directly on the device that you are using and allow us to collect information such as browser type, time spent on the Services, pages visited, language preferences, and other traffic data. We, our advertising partners, and our service providers may use the information for security purposes, to facilitate navigation, display targeted advertisements, display information more effectively, conduct analytics, and personalize your experience.

Local Storage Technologies These technologies provide cookie-equivalent functionality but can store larger amounts of data, including on your device outside of your browser in connection with specific applications.
Pixel Tags Also known as web beacons and clear GIFs, pixel tags may be used to, among other things, track the actions of users of the Services (including email recipients), measure the success of our marketing campaigns, and compile statistics about usage of the Services and response rates.

Marketing choices

You have choices regarding marketing-related communications. If you no longer want to receive marketing-related emails, text messages, or other communications from us on a going-forward basis, you may opt out by following the unsubscribe instructions in any such message or by emailing us at support@clique.com. We will try to comply with your request(s) as soon as reasonably practicable. Please note that if you opt out of receiving marketing from us, we may still send you important administrative messages, from which you cannot opt out.

Device permissions

You can revoke the app's access to your contact book by adjusting those permissions in your device settings. Please note, that even if you terminate our access to your contact book, we may continue to retain the copy of your contacts that you had previously shared. Please email us at support@clique.com if you would like us to delete this information.

Depending on your location and the nature of your interactions with our Services, you may request the following in relation to your personal information:

You are entitled to exercise the rights described above free from discrimination. In some instances, your choices may be limited, such as where fulfilling your request would impair the rights of others, our ability to provide a service you have requested, or our ability to comply with our legal obligations and enforce our legal rights.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we address your request, you may submit a complaint by emailing us at contact@clique.com. If you are based in certain jurisdictions, you may lodge a complaint about how we handle your personal information with a supervisory authority, including in your country of residence, place of work, or where you believe an incident took place.

RETENTION PERIOD

We retain personal information for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purposes for which it was obtained as outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by applicable law. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of personal information, the purposes for which we use personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

This Privacy Policy does not address, and we are not responsible for, the privacy, information, or other practices of any third parties. USE OF SERVICES BY MINORS

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 13.

UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

The "Last Updated" legend at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when this Privacy Policy was last revised. Any changes will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy on the Services.
